What kind of game is WARDOGS?
WARDOGS is an online All-Out Warfare FPS for up to 100 players. Three teams fight over a randomized 2x2 km Control Zone inside a larger battlefield. A team scores by having more players inside the zone, and the first team to 100 points wins.
Each player begins with $10,000 and buys a loadout for each life. Weapons, utility and vehicles cost cash, while reviving teammates, transporting players and controlling the objective earn more. The official description says cash persists between matches, so spending and saving are part of progression.
- Three-team online PvP rather than a traditional two-faction match.
- Vehicles, logistics, construction and destructible environments.
- Proximity voice chat for local communication.
- Elytra, identified by Steam as kernel-level anti-cheat.
Does WARDOGS have single-player or console versions?
The current official Steam feature list names Online PvP and does not list a single-player mode. The official launch trailer says WARDOGS is coming to consoles in 2028. It does not identify PlayStation, Xbox, exact launch timing, cross-play support or platform-specific editions, so those details should remain unconfirmed until BULKHEAD or Team17 publishes them.
Base game versus Supporter Edition
The Supporter Edition contains the base game plus an optional cosmetic Supporter Pack. The official announcement lists weapon and Littlebird helicopter camos, a scoreboard supporter icon and cosmetic bobbleheads. It does not advertise stronger weapons, extra cash or gameplay advantages.
BULKHEAD says WARDOGS will not otherwise be monetized during Early Access, that in-game cash and gold bars cannot be purchased, and that individual camos will not be sold directly. Those are current Early Access plans and should be rechecked if the policy changes.

Should you buy during Early Access?
WARDOGS is now live in Early Access. The official store page says the game is still developing and may change, while the developer expects roughly one to two years of Early Access. If unfinished systems, balance changes or performance updates would bother you, waiting for more updates is the safer choice.
Pricing depends on the Steam region you are buying from. Buy the Supporter Edition only for its cosmetic items and developer-support purpose; do not treat it as a gameplay upgrade.
