Team17 says the Hell Let Loose: Vietnam roadmap will be revealed on August 19, 2026. As of August 15, the full graphic, update schedule and exact content drops have not been published. Official pre-roadmap information confirms broad plans for more maps, weapons, vehicles and uniforms; Battalions are planned after launch; FSR 4.1 is coming in a future update. Weather, night battles, attack helicopters, additional factions and licensed music remain development interests or experiments—not guaranteed roadmap items.

When will the roadmap be revealed?
The official launch announcement gives a specific date: August 19, 2026. It calls the reveal a first look at what is ahead for the game. The developers' earlier Q&A said the roadmap would cover future maps, weapons, vehicles, features and technical updates.
No official post has supplied a broadcast time or promised that every item will receive an exact release date. Watch the official Hell Let Loose news feed rather than countdown pages or community mock-ups. This guide will be revised after the reveal so the plan can be separated into dated updates, broad windows and undated goals.
What is already confirmed before the roadmap?
- Ongoing content: the developers describe additional maps, weapons, vehicles and uniforms as part of the live-service direction.
- Battalions: a persistent clan and community system with groups, statistics, progression, unlocks and ways to join servers together. It was moved from launch because it needed more work and is planned for a post-launch release.
- ANZAC cosmetics: Australian and New Zealand-inspired uniforms and helmets are planned after launch. The Deluxe Edition's 2026 Field Supplies separately places the ANZAC and NVA uniform pack in Q3 2026 and the Green Berets and Navy SEALs pack in Q4.
- FSR 4.1: Team17 says it has been implemented but still requires testing and validation before a future update.
- Technical support: performance, stability and quality-of-life work will continue alongside content updates.
“Confirmed” does not mean every item will appear on August 19 with a precise day. It means an official source has described the feature or content direction as planned, rather than merely answering that the team would like to explore it.
What is only being explored?
The developer Q&As discuss many possibilities, but repeatedly label some ideas as exploratory. They are useful clues about design priorities, not a shopping list of guaranteed DLC.
- Attack helicopters and amphibious armoured personnel carriers are areas of interest, with faction balance still to solve.
- Monsoon weather, night environments, tides and seasonal map variants have prototypes or design concepts, but require new visibility and gameplay systems.
- Additional forces such as Australian and New Zealand units, ARVN and South Korean forces are being considered; no complete playable faction has been promised.
- Licensed period music depends on rights agreements and therefore remains unconfirmed.
- Larger urban battlefields, including the Battle of Huế as a location the team would like to explore, remain part of the long-term vision rather than a dated release.
What comes before long-term content?
The launch team is prioritising stability. Its August 14 communication says the first hotfix is targeted for the end of the launch weekend, with AMD stability work, server and browser improvements, and a fix for extended PS5 audio drop-outs among its targets. A broader first patch is also in development.
Those near-term repairs should not be confused with the live-service roadmap. Hotfix scope can change after testing, while the August 19 reveal is intended to show the longer view. Players waiting on a specific crash or audio fix should follow the launch communications thread, not assume the roadmap itself is a patch note.
Questions the August 19 reveal still needs to answer
- Which updates have fixed dates, release windows or no timing at all?
- How many new maps, weapons and vehicles are currently committed?
- Which additions are free live-service updates and which are paid cosmetic DLC?
- When will Battalions and FSR 4.1 reach players?
- Do any of the experimental weather, night or faction concepts move into confirmed production?
Until the reveal answers those questions, any detailed fan-made “2026 roadmap” should be treated as speculation. The safe version is short: August 19 reveal; broad content expansion confirmed; several named systems planned; many exciting concepts still uncommitted.
